The Parent’s Packing Guide For Summer Camp
School’s almost out and it’s time to start planning for their summer adventures! Make sure they don’t forget the essentials with this helpful guide. Whether you are preparing your kids for summer camp or a family road trip, this checklist will ensure that they have everything they need.
Things to remember:
Before you go shopping for the trip, make sure you know what the summer camp requirements are, and add them to the packing list if necessary. Some camps may ask you to provide bedding materials for your child, so it’s always best to ask them directly.
TIP: Label your child’s belongings to prevent them from getting lost or misplaced during their stay.
Double-check the dates for the trip, and plan to pack one-and-a-half times the number of days they will be there. Be sure to wash any new clothing and linens before packing them. Check all of their electronics to see if they are working properly, and put new batteries in them as needed.
TIP: Organize your child’s clothing in vacuum-seal plastic bags to maximize space and keep outfits dry.
