What does this limited warranty cover?

During the Warranty Period, Sun Company will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
What will we do to correct problems?
Sun Company will either repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or replace the product entirely.
How long does the coverage last?
The Warranty Period is for 365 days from the date of purchase. A replacement product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or 365 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.
What does this limited warranty not cover?
This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:
- conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship
- products that have been tampered with or mistreated
What do you have to do?
To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. In the event of a problem with warranty service or performance, you may be able to go to Small Claims Court, a State Court, or a Federal District Court.
